End of school 2017

Hello everyone,

I have sent out an email regarding the following information as well.

Wednesday 20 Dec. We start the day at 09:00, and we end at 13:30. Klubben is open a little earlier than usual due to this, but for some of you this means an earlier day to pickup. This is our cleaning day, and on this day, you're more than welcome to bring a few extra fruits/vegetables with you, as we possibly will be watching something fun.

We have, in accordance with parent and teacher wishes, chosen to change the starting time on Thursday 21 Dec. We will start the day at 09:20, directly after the 7-9 ceremony (be outside school at 09:10). When the school doors open again, after having been locked, all students are to come directly to the classroom, where we'll take attendance. Then at 09:25 we make our way down to the light hall, where the end of year ceremony will take place. We listen to our principal, we light our candles towards the end, and then lastly we will make our way back up to the class to say farewell and wish each other happy holidays. This will be a very short day, and remember to bring the candles to school.

In other news, today was our student teacher Miguel's last day with us. We didn't really get to say goodbye to him due to choice and PE, so we will possibly write him a short letter tomorrow.

We are now three school days, one cleaning day and one end of year ceremony away from a long break from school. I may actually miss you guys...

Winter Holidays closing in.

Attention:
For our Lucia day, and for our end of year ceremony, the school doors will be locked after 8:20. Aim to be at school around 8:10 on these two days - Wednesday the 13th and Thursday the 21st.

Lucia on this coming Wednesday - school doors are locked after 8:20, so make sure your child is nice and early on this day. Administration doesn't want anyone disrupting the ceremony, so there will be no way to enter the school if you're late. You will have to wait for the ceremony to finish if this is the case. Aim to be at school at 8:10

Julavslutning is on Thursday 21 Dec. On this day, the older grades have their end of term ceremony at 8:30, and we're therefore obliged to lock our classrooms after 8:20 for our farewell in the classrooms. Be nice and early, aiming for 8:10, and I will open the class on this day, so if you're late you're not allowed to walk in and disrupt the ongoing ceremony.
-edit: for this, please bring a white candle and a paper plate - we will light the candles during before we finish the term.

Spelling bee:
Hardest word of the week was "determined". Hansika, Ayesha, Rohin and Shivaansh were in the finals, and Shivaansh won the last duel by spelling "shown"

Christmas party
We started Friday by making sure we covered the academic subject matter for the day. We read Number the Stars, did a review on the chapters we've read so far, and we had our spelling bee. After this we took to decorating the class, and our Christmas tree. We had a playlist, a few activities and lots and lots of snacks for the party. I really think that everyone had a great time, and for the ones that stayed and helped with the cleaning, we started watching a movie. There was indeed a LOT of cleaning to be done, so an extra commandment for the help, as I told 3 students to share the popcorn by opening all bags and throwing them all over the table - which can be seen in the pictures below.

Starting a new week

Hi everyone,

Before we start, tomorrow morning, I would like if the entire class could meet me in the classroom at 08:20 before moving onwards to Art with Faddy. There has been an unfortunate event with a teacher from school, and a formal letter should be prepared from the administration tomorrow to inform everyone.

EDIT: I have received two emails from the office regarding calling in sick. Please make sure you clearly state the name of the child, as the office has had a hard time understanding when the 4en parents call in sick for their children.

Congratulations to Paulina for winning the spelling bee this week, the word was "umbrella". She was a finalist with Ishani and Hansika. But, we do need an honourable mention for Rohin, as he entered late (was at the nurse) and won by spelling permanent, although a true win was ruled for the participants who had endured the entirety of the spelling bee. Syllables was the hardest word of the day, knocking out the entire class.

We stepped it up a bit academically this week. I was really proud of the work we did on our geography passports. While using the iPads to research information about the countries we're working on, a few students were smart enough to use Siri for the information they couldn't acquire at the website I had given. During this, it showed that Siri takes the information from Wikipedia, which lead to a good eye-opener.

Example on sourcing:
1. Google leader of China
2. Use wikipedia as a starter to see it's President Xi Jinping
3. Google "President Xi Jinping BBC" as we, at this moment, consider BBC a trustworthy source
4. See if the BBC profile correlates with the Wikipedia information

This also comes back to our math work, which was focused on problem solving this week. We were writing our own mathematical problems from given number sentences. And, to make sure our work was correct, we had to solve our own problems as well. We shared the problems in class, and it was lovely to see that everyone could participate and share.

After both myself and my own children falling ill, hopefully we won't be sick again this term. I'm looking forward to finishing the year on an strong upwards spiral both academically and socially, so I'm really looking forward to our Christmas party on Friday, the Lucia parade and the last day of school in 2017. In addition to this, I have been encouraging the students to share video's or creations of their skills - or even to create lesson plans if they have something extraordinary they'd like to teach the class. Now, we already have two teaching entries being reviewed by myself, to ensure the content and lesson is acceptable, entertaining, and encourage learning. It could be anything, even if it's an instructional video on how to ice-skate, or draw manga - as I'd like to encourage all of our students to produce something if they have something they're good at.

An email has been sent to all parents regarding the bullying incident and steps taken in the process.

Whoa

Greetings everyone,

As we all know by now, I've been out for a few days. First with sick children, and then sick myself. But, all good things have to come to an end, so I was finally back to work today :).

Now, as of my understanding Ritvik was to leave for India in December, but left yesterday, and I was so sad that I didn't get to say goodbye. I hope that he'll have a good time back in India, and if everything goes as planned, the family plans to return in fifth grade - looking forward to it.

While I was gone a few things became apparent regarding our social circles in class, and a formal investigation is currently being conducted. So, if your children were to mention this, it's due to teacher Anna and myself having meetings with the implicated students and the closest students to the problem. We're dealing with this according to the school's anti bullying program, and all implicated students' parents will be informed when we're done with our investigation and have sorted all the documentation.

On a brighter note, next week we've planned for a Christmas party. For this, we will all have to bring some snacks and pleasantries, so I divided out the things to be brought today. Following this is a list of students and what they're to bring, and you're of course welcome to switch with someone else, but then you're to arrange it on your own. I've tried just to make it easy to organize this. I may have made a change or two, from what was said in class.

We'll be around 25 students, but with all that's to be brought, don't overdo the baking:

Rohin - Cookies
Zeno - Paper cups (not plastic, we're having hot chocolate)
Veer - Disposable plates
Paulina - Cookies
Pascale - Chocolate balls
Hansika - Chocolate balls
Lydia - Hot Cocoa
Hanna - Glutenfree treat
Soon Hwan - Gingerbread
Uzair - Prestzels (salty sticks or similar)
Krishaan - Gingerbread
Aadithya - Lussekatter
Igor - Lussekatter
Ishani - Cupcakes
Shivaansh - Popcorn
Bhavika - Roasted seeds
Fahman - Roasted seeds
Inay - Popcorn
Ayesha - Cupcakes
Alicia - Julmust
Weiyang - Julmust
Hasan - Juice or saft (concentrate)
Saanvi - Juice or saft (concentrate)

The end of term is nearing, can you feel the holiday spirit yet?

So much to cover.

Hi all,

We had a lovely day today. First, we started by listening to the 5th and 6th grade rap battles, and this was a huge topic of discussion on the teacher's conferences today, as one of the Swedish classes had swear words in their lyrics. Something that the teacher in charge is now aware of, that is not acceptable in this international setting. Secondly, the snow had fallen in masses, and we, therefore, deviated from our planned itinerary. Today we were supposed to have our math test, but due to the snow, we went sledding instead. So, we have rescheduled the math test for tomorrow.

On Friday, November 24, we're going to have our planned health day. We'll start the day with a sleep-in, therefore starting at 9, and the day will conclude at 13:30. Klubben is aware of this and ready to take our students a little earlier, but for the ones not attending Klubben, well then this means that you have to go home a little earlier... Early weekend, what a drag, I know...

For Friday, December 8, our students have planned a Christmas party, for which they'd like to bring a few things to school. We will start the party sometime after the lunch break, and the party may drag a bit over the regular school hours, but we don't know how much yet. Now, for the Christmas party there will be a dresscode of either, -and in order of preference: Christmas pyjamas > Christmas clothes > pyjamas. And, we will need to divide who brings what, but these are the wishes for now: paper cups/plates, chocolate balls, gingerbread, lussekatter, chips, popcorn, roasted seeds, cupcakes/muffins, cookies/milk, and julmust, hot cocoa, "saft" (concentrate), juice and possibly tea. I'm not saying we need all thins, but the class has now put forth their wishes.

December 13 is scheduled for the school's yearly 5th grade Lucia parade. And, it's to be noted before I finish this update... Today is the 21st of November, and this term ends on December 21st, so there's only one month left of this term.

One cracked tooth later.

Dear Parents,

This is the most unfortunate postponed post I've done. I fully forgot to post anything after I heard my tooth crack on a carrot Friday evening. So, as my dentist ordered me, I've been worrying about not eating anything hard all weekend rather than informing you.

Let's get on with this. What a FANTASTIC week. Our trip to Naturhistoriska was a blast, and I'm extremely proud of the personal responsibility every individual student took when given freedom towards the end of the trip. Our goals were reached, and I'm fairly certain we all had fun.

Weeks as these just fly by, so with our paper airplane competition, and with our student teacher joining us, it feels as if we need a strong old fashion academic week this week - no more fun stuff!! But, before we start with the oncoming week, let's appreciate the 20 or so words that our two finalists Alicia and Weiyang had to battle out to take the throne as our spelling bee champ. And, in yet another final, Weiyang took home the last correctly spelled word - which was... I kind of left my notes at work,  but we all know what it was, right? Ooops! :) Also, that is just about 3 times Weiyang has won, so we have to give those spelling words and extra notch next week. In addition to this, our spelling bee will be held on Thursday, as our 4-6 classes have a health awareness day on Friday.

The coming week has the rap battle on Tuesday, spelling bee on Thursday, our second math test will be this week as well, and as previously mentioned mentioned a health awareness day on Friday. Also, our groups for choice will be rotating in this order programming -> art -> computer science -> programming.

We simply had too much fun to remember to take pictures this week, and especially during our science lesson where the entire process culminated in us figuring out our mystery powder, while commencing in some mixing fun.

I hope you all had a good relaxing weekend, please enjoy the few pictures we remembered to take.

Week 46

Hi everyone,

This week is packed full of events. We will start, and finish up, our 1on1 talks regarding our classroom environment. Unfortunately me being out of the classroom conducting these talks, has created a gap in our plan for the week, so we're enjoying some movie time while this is ongoing. But, there's lots of exiting stuff to come.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, was supposed to start with a fifth and sixth grade rap battle, but this is rescheduled to next week. So tomorrow will be a regular day, except for the talks.

On Wednesday we're of to visit the gems and mineral collection at the Natural Museum of History, so remember to be on time 08:20 with a:
- Packed Lunch
- Small backpack
- Pencil
- Water

On Thursday morning we'll participate in our yearly paper airplane competition, and catch up with our visit to the museum.

Lastly on Friday, we'll catch up with all the minor projects we're working on.

For homework this week, we'll work on page 27 and 28 the math workbook, and I will post a few diagnostic exercises before next weeks math test. We will receive our journal topics as well as our vocabulary words tomorrow.

Now, I unfortunately forgot to announce last weeks spelling bee winner. This was the best first round of the spelling bee that we've seen, and it took quite a while for the students to drop out. Once Paulina, Hansika and Pascale went out, Alicia, Weiyang and Inay battled it out for a bit. Potato was the final word, and though we had to conduct some research on the spelling, Weiyang won this bee. If I am not Mistaken, this is the first recurring winner we've had so far, and I've been real happy to see an array of different students journey towards the top.

Lastly, lastly... :) Do not forget to bring lunch on Wednesday. It will be a really long day if you have to go around all hungry, and the class won't be able to concentrate if your tummy is rumbling loud.

Special thank you to the parents that have volunteered to join us on Wednesday.

Excursion Naturhistoriska.

Hi everyone,

I have called to make arrangements regarding our field trip, and we're scheduled to
visit Naturhistoriska next Wednesday (week 46). Conforming to the wishes of our students, we are all to bring a packed lunch with us, and a snack: fruit or vegetable. Make sure to make it something easy to consume, and nothing messy.

The aim of the visit is to expand our current knowledge regarding minerals, in connection to our scientific experiments regarding our unknown powders. We have, through the process of vaporizing saturated solutions, crafted our own crystals from the powders we're currently investigating, leading to this sidetrack. And, this created the incentive to actually go visit Naturhistoriska vast crystal and mineral collection.

Naturhistoriska opens at 10:00, so we will meet and end at school during our regular hours 08:20-13:45. We will take bus 50 from Odenplan to arrive around 10:00, and we'll be back in time to end class in the classroom by 13:45.

We're also lucky enough to have a student teacher in our class from next week. I have yet to receive any information regarding their required schedule, though I'm sure we'll be lucky enough to have a few fun lessons prepared and executed by this person. Hopefully our excursion can be a great motivator for the student teacher to get started with us.

Lastly, any parent help is welcome for the excursion next Wednesday. Do not hesitate to write me an email or to grab me for 2 min after school, regarding your interest in joining us.

Remember:
- Packed Lunch
- Small backpack
- Pencil
- Water

Kind Regards,

//Teacher John

Working title

Hi all,

Starting up after the holidays has been a breeze, you must've done something right with your children, as they're all relaxed and ready to work.

I'm trying to organize a trip to Naturhistoriska Riksmuseet (Museum of Natural History), as we've expanded our powder experiments into mineral knowledge, but coordinating a class helper for the trip seems to cause problems. I will return with a tentative time and date, when all the cards fall in place. If you're interested in going, please feel free to email me with your interest in joining us. The class wish was for all of our students to bring their own lunch on the day as well, so please also email me if you want me to fix lunch for your child, as I need to order from the kitchen in good time. - Possibly Wednesday next week (w46).

Homework for the week is: reading as usual, story writing in the journal, practicing our vocabulary, and finishing up page 25-26 in our math workbooks. Please sign that the homework is completed, in the parent/teacher box of the journal.

I have had a few requests for more homework/practice or what I call "busy work", but I don't have time to read or give feedback on more work. After reflecting upon this, I find that 20-30 min a night is sufficient for a 4th grade student, so if you want more work - please don't hesitate to download and print worksheets from sites such as education.com where you can sort by grade and activity. I hope you can engage your children in everyday activities such as shopping, board games, trips to museums etc. as time spent in real life situations is invaluable.

International Day

Hi all,

Yesterday went by with a swoop, and due to the addition of having the pot lock last night, I didn't get to update the blog. This was most likely for the better, as I would've forgotten to inform about the homework as well. We only have one page of math this week, page 23 in the workbook - patterns. In addition to this, we have the story in our journals to finish, as well as our spelling bee wordlist. And, even though we have the entire Friday planned with science activities, we will find time for the spelling bee. Now, the homework is due Monday morning week 45, after our week 44 Höstlov.

Well, here it comes; I have looked through the footage/pictures, and I have removed any pictures of our protected students, as the entire school was present at the celebration. Here's a small glimpse of what happened at Rödabergsskolan yesterday.

I have a longer video of the flag parade, but I will have to fix that another evening, as it doesn't upload due to size (only 1:30), but I have a few pictures of the great food and guests from the pot lock. I hope that everyone got a little taste of the different cuisines, but next year I'll require all parents to bring an extra batch of everything just for me though :)

Huge blunder.

Tomorrow, the International day starts at 08:20 as usual. I will send you all an email regarding this as well as send home a paper note with every child.

I'm very sorry, but I must have made the mixup while writing the schedule for our coming Health Day, for which we have a late morning.

I'm really sorry, but I hope everyone sees this, so that we can be on time tomorrow morning.

Last week before Höstlov

Hi everyone,

This is going to be a long one.

We have quite a few plans for the coming week. Our Monday will be quite the normal Monday, except for Aadithya and Hansika, who are both going to the International Day rehearsals in the light hall at 08:20.

Tuesday we will watch a few performances, listen to the Children's Rights, and watch our flag parade, all in celebration of the school's International Day. The entire school has "Minorities" as the theme, which we'll be working with during the lessons after lunch. The school day on Tuesday is from 9-13:30, so there's a small sleep in morning. Now, I will be planning in the classroom from 13:30-14:15 if you need to stay at school until our regular ending time, as this is very short notice for this.

Wednesday and Thursday are going to run by as normal.

Friday is yet another special day, as it's the last day before the week 44 holidays ("Höstlov"), but also our school's official Halloween day. We're all allowed to come dressed up as something creepy and scary, but as usual no masks, weapons or killer clowns are allowed on school grounds. I'll try to comprise some academic halloween themed work for this day, and we're allowed to bring cupcakes for the class if you want. If you do bring cupcakes, you bring for everyone, and they have to be extra scary and horrible cupcakes of course.
In relation to the Halloween school day, there will be a Halloween Disco in the evening. So, for 30kr you can buy a ticket to the disco, next week during the lunch break. Remember to bring a little extra money on the evening for snacks. This is all described in the Halloween picture below. The disco is from 17-19 on 10/27/17.

Also, if you have a few extra Zip Lock bags lying around, we would be grateful if you could bring them on Friday. We may or may not try to make them explode during our science lesson.

Having been gone a few days this week, I don't have much to report. Our programming group got to test programming my Lego Boost robot, according to a few criterion I provided. This was a great way to see their software training turning into something tangible and real.

This week we also had our Spelling Bee, where last weeks runner up, Alicia, took home the win. She was in a hard battle with our other finalist Lydia, and finally won by spelling "anvil". The hardest word of the day was gerbil, which erased everyone left (half the class), so that we had to reset, and nasal was very hard as well. We're definitely getting better results in our first round of spelling, but still need to make sure we actually practice a bit at home to make it past the current weeks homework words.

I think that was just about everything.

Homework Monday morning.

Hi all,

First of all, I really hope that the school fixed a good substitute, as I always try to carry out the work intended whether or not I can be in the class. If I construct a simple enough plan to follow, there's not reason to fill the days I'm gone with busy work. Did you guys have a good day today?

Now, I must admit that I've made a huge blunder in regards to homework. I have just about 2 hours of planning time scheduled on Mondays, so I will of course need the homework Journals and math workbooks on my table Monday morning. You're welcome to drop it off before art class starts. Now, I have already informed all the students about this during our NTS lesson this Monday, so they are definitely prepared for this change. So, just make sure you sign the journals on Sunday evening the latest.

Lastly, I have finally received the official invitation regarding International Day, next Tuesday. I have just right now made sure to forward the invitation to all of your emails, so if you don't have it  it, please let me know so I can change your email address in the registry I've made.

I think that's just about it. I'm really sorry that I can't be there with our students in class, but sometimes you just have to stay and take care of your own little ones for a bit as well. I hope to be back on Thursday, as Michelle will most likely VAB if they're still sick by then.

//Teacher John

I'll post again later tonight

Hi all,

Unfortunately the kids have fallen ill, so I was out today and will be out again tomorrow it seems. I'll do my best to update the homework and such later tonight, once the kids are in bed.

Too busy.

Hi,

Having been busy with my science course for personal development and with moving apartments today, I unfortunately haven't found the time to update you with pictures of our first math test.

We had our first test this Tuesday, and I spent a little time explaining the purpose to our students. This test is of course an indicator of work speed and ability, but the emphasis of the test taking is more on discovering common mistakes for us to tackle.

Now, just a reminder about homework.
1. Five tasks from our Vocabulary task list per week.
2. Math workbook pages.
3. Finishing the text in our journals, if not completed during the Tuesday lesson.
4. Still read every night, but shared amongst the other HW so we don't burn out :)

Homework should take around the 30 min mark per night, no need sitting for hours. If we're sitting for hours, then we have to re-evaluate the workload.

Science course

Hi everyone,

As I just informed the class about, I'll be out two days this week. First, I'm attending a science course on Wednesday, and secondly I'll be moving apartment on Thursday. I'm trying to get a good plan together for the substitute, and I hope we'll do our best in making it an enjoyable time for whomever it'll be.

We started reading Number the Stars today, and I think we need to re-read the chapters once or twice as we go, but please feel free to read ahead. You're also welcome to write down any hard words you may encounter, or even better to search for the definition in a dictionary directly after finishing the chapter.

Tomorrow we're getting our spelling words, and the tasks for homework. I'll just remind everyone that a parent will have to sign that the homework has indeed been completed. Parents are of course not responsible for any correcting, only that the tasks have been done.

I'm really looking forward to this course, so I hope I can come back with revitalized energy for our acid and base experiments on Friday.

See you tomorrow

Weekend!

Hi everyone,

What a wonderful week. Here's a short update, but unfortunately no more pictures.

First, lets applaud Weiyang for winning the spelling bee with the word "million". We had quite the pack of finalists, but Rohin, Inay, Shivaansh, Aadithya and Pascale went out together, before Weiyang and Alicia battled it out for a while after. I think our hardest word today was the word squeeze.

Secondly, International day is creeping up on us. If any of us wants to show of our culture with a dance, fashion show, or anything non-political that we can enjoy in a short act, they're more than welcome to join groups with anyone from 4-6en. We will be allowed to practice any choreography necessary during the morning and lunch break, but I will need to know who's interested sometime next week. This is not a talent or playback show, it is merely to present a cultural experience. Now, I do know that there's an Indian group preparing a traditional dance, and if you're interested in joining that, be prepared to put hours into learning the gorgeous choreography. I was fortunate enough to enjoy a preview earlier today. Two things to keep in mind: You do not necessarily have to perform for your own country, as you may join another group if you're merely interested in their culture and want to join their performance, and the music has to be available on Spotify.

I don't think there's a lot more to do than to wish for you all to have a great weekend, and I will do that by posting this... your kids will understand.

Orienteering

What a joy, and the weather turned out to be gorgeous all day. 10/10 :)

Tuesday, 3 October 2017

The HW update in full

Hi,

Orienteering on Thursday!!! If in doubt, read the previous posts!!! :)

Homework - from week 41

We will take class time to fill in our school journals, every Tuesday, and in this we will have:
1. our vocabulary words for Friday's spelling bee.
2. news of the week - could be from watching Newsround in school, or an article glued in the journal.
3. a story, piece of text - this week it was "write about your past week"
4. simple reminders about the week - such as orienteering etc.

In addition to this, we will also receive a few math workbook pages to recap/reteach what we've covered during the week, and this week we're finishing page 11 and 12 for homework.

And lastly, we have to finish a minimum of 5 tasks/activities with our vocabulary work.

To recap, this is our weekly homework: Vocabulary activities, math workbook, filled in school journal. Now, this all this needs to be completed by Monday evening the latest. You, the parent, will need to sign that your child has completed these tasks as homework every week. You do this by signing the School Journal, no later than Monday evening, as we're working in the journal the coming day.

This is our mandatory homework for the week, in addition to anything incomplete that I may take the liberty to add to this. But, we also have the voluntary multiplication workbook for home, as I expect that we'll reach a point where the entire class can at least recite the 1-5 +10 times tables by the end of the school year. Knowing their commutative properties just makes multiplication and division so much easier in the future. So, without further ado, here is the next few answer sheets for this workbook.

Week 40

Hi everyone,

We have attended school for a few weeks by now, and something's going to change... But, first we have to remind about Thursday this week. On Thursday we will need a packed lunch from home, and the school hours are 9-13:30... note that this is a shorter day than usual.

Homework update.

Summaries: The third summary is due on Monday, and after this summary it won't be mandatory to read at night the coming weeks. We will instead put a little more effort into our vocabulary words. This change is due to us starting a longer project with "Number the Stars" here at school. Having Harry Potter on Wednesdays, NtS and a book to follow at home would be quite a challenge, but not impossible for some. You're still welcome to continue reading on your own, and writing the summaries, as a prize is still to be determined for the most vivid readers.

The new homework has a similar routine. Five nights a week we will finish one task related to our weekly wordlist, taking from 5-25 min. I have a list of tasks, and the students will freely choose which task they want to complete for the evening. Our students will have to finish all 20 tasks, so the words for the following week can't be using the same activity as previously. The spelling words will be received on Tuesdays, as usual, and the spelling bee will continue to take place on Fridays. The major change is that once the activities are done, you the parent will have to sign that is finished, which can be done in our journals.

Recap: Starting a reading project at school - New homework from week 41, which parents now have to sign by Tuesday the following week - Summaries will return as homework later.

PS. Thursday is looking grim, it will be bucketing according to the weather prognosis - wear appropriate clothing for running in the forest in pouring rain. Edit: I just realized I forgot to add the answer key for our times tables workbook, so this will follow later.

Before the weekend

Weekend at last!!!

Well, great week all in all, and Ritvik joined our class. Special shoutout to him!

Before we look at the pictures from today's science lesson, we need to remember that pages 9-10 in the math workbook are due as homework on Tuesday. We also need to give a shoutout to Lydia, who won our spelling bee today. It was a close call between Lydia, Shivaansh and Ishani, and with about three misspelled words by all our finalists, Lydia finally won by spelling "chocolate".

Have a great weekend to all of you; here are the few pictures I took during our science lesson today. Next week we'll analyze the crystals with our magnifying glasses, to see what's really going on here.
